Quite a few products this time as well, however; a lot of products are not finished, but going to friends, family or in the bin. I've reached a point where I've just had enough of trying to finish products I don't like, that don't do anything nice for my skin and makes me uncomfortable. What's the point? There will be a few more next month as well, but I didn't want to chuck too much in one go. In case others are also coming to the realisation that their keeping a lot of stuff around that their never going to use anyway, I urge you to start with a few things and chuck it in the bin, it feels really good!
Soap and Glory Clean On Me Shower Cream 500ml - click here for review -
I've written about this before, I really love this. It smells delicious and lathers up beautifully. It makes me feel really clean, but without drying the skin. I'm in a bit of a Molton Brown phase at the moment so I won't repurchase for that reason, and that reason only. This is a really great product that I absolutely recommend!
Biotherm Baume Corps Oil Therapy 400ml
I like Biotherm's body lotions, but I don't love them. They are absolutely fine and usually on offer so a decent value for money. They hydrate well, absorb really quickly and have never left any sort of uncomfortable residue, or any residue at all, in my experience. Not the last time I will be using one of these, but not something I'll be running out to repurchase.
Garnier 7 Days Hydrating Body Lotion for Normal Skin 250ml - click here for review -
Well, I have one of these in my empties posts every few months. I use this particular body lotion for my upper body, every morning and every night. I have a backup and a new one that I started using the second this one finished. Love it.
REDKEN Color Extend Rich Recovery Mask 250ml
I used this as my main hair mask about a year ago, until I tried the Macadamia Mask and fell in love with that. I'm not sure if it's gone bad, my hair has different needs or what it is, but these days I feel it weighs my hair down and makes it appear a bit lifeless and dull. I have about 3-4 uses left, but I have other masks I prefer so I'm going to stop forcing myself to finish it and just get on with my life. Dramatic as that may sound.
Batiste Dry Shampoo Medium & Brunette 200ml
LOVE this! It was featured in one of my favourites posts a few months back where I wrote more about it. I have another one on the go and see no reason why I won't have another one after that, and so on.
JOICO K-PAK Reconstruct Liquid Reconstructor 300ml
This is a very nice reconstructing spray, but I've been working on finishing it for months now so I am happy it finally finished! It definitely makes a difference to my hair, it's stronger and healthier when I use it. It's also really shiny, and all this without weighing hair down the slightest. A gorgeous product I recommend to anyone that is bleaching or excessively colouring their hair! I don't think my hair needs this right now, but if it does in the future I wouldn't be hard pressed to buy this again.
St. Tropez Wash Off Instant Glow Body Lotion 150ml
Ugh. I bought this with my hard earned Boots points almost two years ago now, used it once and put it away. I hated it the first time I used it, I hated it when I tried using it now, and so away it goes. It applies very patchy and uneven, not even related to natural. It's absolutely horrible, I washed it off straight away each time. Will never buy this again. And it's expensive. What a waste of money/Boots points.
Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying Face SPF 50 50ml
I can't believe I never wrote a full review on this, or featured it in a favourites post. This is by far my all-time favourite daily SPF. It's light, invisible on the skin and I can't feel it's on at all. I will definitely be buying again once I finish what I have.
Institut Esthederm Reflets De Soleil Sun Sheen Instant Tan Sel-Tanning Face Cream 50ml - click here for review -
This stuff has a 9 month expiry date and broke me out last time I used it so I'm throwing it out even though it's not completely empty. That being said, I did really like it when it wasn't expired. It gives a nice and natural glow that lasts quite a few days.
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Xerand Hand Repair Cream 50ml
This stuff is amazing. It's my all-time night time hand cream of choice, though I could certainly use it during the day as well. I just prefer my day hand creams to have SPF in them. This one is just beautiful. It has a light texture that absorbs really quickly, leaving no residue. Still, it hydrates better than anything else I've ever used. When using this every night my hands would be softer and far less dry than I can remember them ever being. I've already purchased another one.
Lancome Galateis Douceur 125ml
I got two of these as part of gifts with purchase last year and have been working on finishing them up. One down, one to go. I use this to remove my face makeup and it is really nice. It's very gentle on skin and the cream formula leaves skin comfortable and not dry at all. I still prefer the Bioderma by far and will be sticking to that to remove my makeup once I finish my milk cleansers, but this really is a nice product.
Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Treatment Lotion 200ml
I can't believe I still haven't written a review about this! I've raved about it time and time again, re-purchased several times and will forever. I had a new one waiting even before this one ran out that I'm using now. This summer I will post a review on this!
Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream 15ml
I really liked this eye cream. It has tiny glitter in it to help brighten and awaken the eye area. It also moisturises well and does help somewhat in lightening any darkness. It's not a groundbreaking eye cream and I'm not running out to re-purchase as I have a few samples I want to try before I make my next purchase, but I could buy this again. It's nice.
Clarins Daily Energizer Cream-Gel 30ml
This stuff is gorgeous. I love it! One of the better day creams I've tried. When I started using it I noticed my skin tone was more even and radiant almost immediately. The gel formula was light and comfortable on the skin, it absorbed rather quickly and didn't leave any residue. I am slowly working my way through the creams I have, but once they are finally gone I could definitely see myself buying this again.
Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm in Frenzy
This has dried out. When I first bought these last summer I loved them. To this day they are the best lip stains I've tried, if only they didn't completely dried my lips out, and the products drying itself out too quickly for that matter. It didn't take long until it started applying really patchy and I will probably be throwing out the other shades I have soon. The best thing about these is that I could drink and kiss my boyfriend without leaving any lipstick on him or the glass. Oh well.
Benefit Girl Meets Pearl 12ml
I bought this about two years ago or so and i can't say I ever really liked it. It's a bit too much golden glitter for my tastes making it way too obvious. I pulled it back out to try and get some use out of it now, but it feels uncomfortable on the skin, making it red and so I am pretty sure it's expired. Off it goes. Not something I will be buying again.
Benefit The POREfessional 22ml - click here for review -
This is an ok primer. But it's not great. It doesn't really blur my pores out, at least not as well as other primers such as the Hourglass Mineral Veil. It also does a really poor job of keeping foundation on, it actually seems to shorten the lasting time. When wearing this my foundation is blotchy, patchy and oily within 4 hours. I don't even have oily skin, just normal combination. Not something I will buy again, it's not for me. I know it's loved by many others though, so it's probably a great product for some, but not for me and my skin.
OPI Top Coat 15ml
I'm starting to realise that top and base coats are only useable halfway through. By that point they get gloopy and the brush isn't coated enough and you end up ruining your manicure. Someone needs to think of a different design for the bottle so that all can get used. And possibly smaller bottles with less product, for less money. This top coat is OK, but not something I will buy again. It takes ages to dry, I will be sticking to my Seche Vite.
Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Blush in #5 and #10 10ml
I don't like these blushes very much and my mother loves cream blushes so I've decided to give them to her. That's all. They are ok, but just not for me. I also don't find the colours too flattering.
BECCA Cream Blush in brown and pink
The shade name has disappeared from the bottom of these so I'm not sure which they are. I never liked these either. They are oily, patchy and disappears completely after about 30 minutes. Now they also burn when applied to my skin so I think they have expired. To the trash they go and definitely not something I will be buying again. I have read good reviews from others though, so it might work for some.
Dior Instant Eye Makeup Remover 15ml
Another one of these. It's a fine makeup remover, but nothing too special. I could certainly see myself buying this, but in my honest opinion most of these are pretty much the same. It's a good one though. If your interested in trying this, it won't be a bad purchase.
Estée Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15 5ml
Been using this down my neck and chest for the day and it's been nice for that purpose. I've never tried it on my face so I can't say anything about how it works as a face cream, but I will say this; it smells gorgeous! So fresh!
Clarins Ultra-Matte Rebalancing Lotion 5ml
Also used as a neck and chest cream. Lovely product. Moisturises surprisingly well. If you've got oily skin I think this one could be one to look into!
Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Creme
This stuff is absolutely gorgeous. I used this sample on a short trip I had and I love it. I've used other samples of this cream on other trips I've taken and I've loved it then too. My skin is left so comfortable, but balanced, and not at all oily. It also smells heavenly. Absolutely a cream I'll consider when I will be needing a new face cream.
Clarins High Definition Body Lift 8ml
8ml isn't enough product to properly test this so I can't really comment on how well it works. However, it's the classic minty fresh anti-cellulite cream that is quite comfortable ont he skin and didn't leave it dry.
