I got this trial skincare kit from CETAPHIL recently. At first I was a bit reluctant to try new skincare regime because I have sensitive skin (also since my current skincare works for me, I don't see the point of changing it atm).
Cetaphil actually scouted me all the way from Philippines (they appointed a digital agency there) and was quite persistent that I try out what they had to offer. After much convincing with myself, I decided to give this skincare a go (my biggest fear was that my skin decided to react badly and I'd hate to meet new people - introducing myself as a beauty blogger - with a face full of breakouts).
It is also good to note that Cetaphil is a therapeutic skin care line, suitable for all skin types. It's super gentle, it's suitable for even for pregnant women and babies!
And then, the package arrived; it consisted of two items:
(1) Gentle Skin Cleanser (29ml)
(2) UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+ (5ml)
Good to use for about a week and feel the results, I'd say!

I cannot stress how much this step is the most crucial in achieving (almost) perfect skin!

My Verdict
My fear was put to rest when my skin maintained a healthy glow after using both the cleanser and sunblock. There were no signs of breakouts (thank God!) nor any bad reactions after using Cetaphil products (whoa hey, they won't simply claim 'No. 1 Recommended Skincare by Dermatologists' without any backing! Source: IMS Data on Emollients & Protectives, 2013).
The texture of the cleanser is very light and it doesn't have any scent to it. It lathers up easily and rinses out easily too. The sunblock works like a charm, because it doesn't leave any white residues (isn't that the biggest concern for sunblocks, eh?) and it absorbs into the skin very quickly.
