About Lotus Herbals Professional PHYTORx™ Herbcomplex Protective Lotion - SPF 15
As per mentioned in one of my posts about Lotus Herbals Professional PHYTORx™ Botanical Prescriptions range here, what PHYTORx™ Herbcomplex Protective Lotion with SPF 15 claims is:
- It can work as an everyday moisturizing sun protector with SPF-15 that not only locks essential moisture but also works as defense system for the skin by protecting it from ill-effects of the sun, wind, UV radiation and heat.
- It can help heal minor rashes and sun burns while moisturizing skin.
- Babuna (Chamomile): Soothing, Antiseptic and astringent
- Kumari (Aloe Vera): Antibacterial and moisturizing
- Genhu (Wheat): Regenerative and antioxidant
- Gulab (Rose): Soothing, new cells renewal and astringent
Suitable: Normal to Oily Skin type
How to Use: Apply generous quantity on face, neck and all exposed areas. Spread all over evenly
Below are some pics and my first impression about the lotion:
First impression of the product:
1) I like the packaging of this lotion. The green color of the complete range adds the certain herbal touch to it, making it really soothing and attractive for summer season. We don't have too many trees left in Bangalore now, with all construction and rapid deforestation, so any form of green feels good to look at. My desktop's wall paper is also green in color!
2) The lotion comes with a pump and a nozzle to take the product out. However, it doesn't have any cap to cover the pump. The interesting thing about the packing is that the pump is secured with this plastic ring, that can stop anyone from accidentally pressing it down. Whenever you don't want to use it, slide the ring on the neck of the pump and your bottle is secured! However, I hope this works in avoiding any spillage while carrying the lotion in bags too. And I seriously hope that I don't loose that locking ring.
I might have got a bad piece because it took me ages to make the pump work and get some product out of it.

3) As of now it is only available at Salons and spas that use Herbal products, particularly lotus herbals
4) I like the fact that this lotion is suitable for normal to oily skin types, because my skin type falls somewhere in between the both.
5) It has SPF 15, which definitely makes it good for day time wear.
6) It is preservative free, paraben free and free from any artificial fragrance or color.
7) I found the consistency of this lotion quite light and it gets absorbed quickly.
8) Smell: It has a strong smell of rose water. However, I can also smell somewhat herbal kind of smell from it.
9) I like the consistency of this lotion. It is slightly tinted like lacto calamine lotion, but does not leave any whitish cast and gets absorbed quickly.It hasn't left any greasiness or stickiness behind as of now.
