Finnish writer and director Aki Kaurismäki returns with another off beat comedy. A shoeshiner gets involved to help an illegal African boy while his wife suffers from a terminal disease. Kaurismäki, a master of stylized dead-pan comedy achieves new heights with his most political film that also pays homage to French cinema.
